Those who suffer from such malady should initially consult their doctor to ensure they do not suffer from any other disease of serious nature. This is not to say that panic attacks are not serious enough, but consulting your doctor is a beginning to find out the cause of your problem. If your problem is only panic attack, then you really can cure and conquer them with proper treatment gradually.

Be watchful of your daily intake of caffeine, which is considered to be a probable cause of panic attacks in the case of several people. You will notice that curtailing the intake of coffee and soda will lower the incidence of your attacks. Your doctor may prescribe ‘xanax’ as a provisional medicine. This is intended for a short duration only and ought not to be considered as a lasting remedy. The best counsel I can give you is that when you are under attack next time, you need to acknowledge its occurrence and allow it to continue its natural course. Panic attacks are nothing but physical phenomenon.

In case, you have fallen prey to the Panic attack while at work, it is recommended that you immediately leave the place of work and opt for a stroll to destroy the adrenaline built-up. Keep yourself away from beverages like tea or coffee and also ensure that you are never too hungry. Hunger raises the adrenalin levels and your brain gets energized more, which often results in panic attacks.
