Relieving Stress through 7 Natural Ways
There are a variety of natural ways for relieving stress.
1. Breathing – You should take slow, long, and even breaths whenever you feel that you are under stress. This will keep you calm, composed and controlled and help in taking your mind off the anxious thoughts. Make sure that you breathe out slowly and similarly breathe in six times in one go. You may do this as long as you can till you can maintain your breathing.

2. Laugh – You can watch fun filled film or TV show that can make you laugh. You may also visit websites like YouTube and find some amusing clips. Looking at the lighter side of life can make you happy. This will ease up the anxiety and help you think in positive direction.
3. Meditate – Learn ways to meditate as it is health-enhancing and very relaxing. There are a number of ways to meditate. The preferred way is to lie down and try to consciously relax your every body part. If you close your eyes, you will feel much better. This will allow you to feel better. Furthermore, you may continue to slowly breathe preferably four times in and out with frequent gaps. Try to focus on your breathing pattern and don’t let other thoughts come in your mind. Another technique of meditation is staring at an object preferably a candle flame. You will relax if you concentrate on the changing shape and movement of the flame.
4. Walk in nature. If you have park, beach or natural landscape near you home then you are a lucky person. Such places are ideal for releasing stress and soothe your mind and thoughts. Flowing or falling water will also have restful effect. Walking in nature is considered as a nice approach for releasing stress.

5. Essential oils – Oils that can help in relieving stress are Sandalwood, Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Geranium, Lavender, Clary Sage and Sweet Marjoram. Ylang Ylang is very good for stress release. Using one or blend of more oils will surely relax you and give excellent result. You can use in multiple ways which ever suits you. To name a few, you can vaporizer and inhaling by putting some drops (10 to 12) in your warm bath. You should stay for 20 to 30 minutes in bath. An ideal stress blend is one drop Ylang Ylang, two drops Geranium and three drops Lavender.
6. B Vitamins. This is a known fact that vitamins B become depleted when you are under stress. You should cover up this loss by taking supplements helpful in bringing back your energy and relief.
7. Herbs – You can take suggestion from the naturopath at the nearby health food store. Siberian Ginseng, Oats, St John’s Wort, Lady’s Slipper and Skullcap are best known herbs for relieving stress.
